We have recently launched a website www.civcil.eu , where you can find and add information about the practice, examples, and tools for validation of competencies and skills gained in volunteering.

Also this year we are offering open, accredited training in volunteer management. The first one will be held in Bratislava on June 13 – 16, 2015 .

 Project coordinators and experts of EVOLVET joined together from the 18th to the 21st of May 2016 in order to decide the next steps of this Erasmus project. 

On January 1, 2016, the Act on Sports no. 440/2015 came into force, and it also amended the Act on Volunteering. This new amendment fundamentally violated the basic principles of volunteering which is carried out without any financial gain, based on free will and during free time.

We would like to invite you for an international training focused on young volunteers from vulnerable groups.

Quality Standards for Volunteer Management in Slovakia prove the quality of volunteer management. Any organization in Slovakia working with volunteers can apply for this quality mark, however, it needs to go through a process of self-assessment and external evaluation done by trained evaluators.

Before the approaching elections in March 2016, the Platform of Volunteer Centers and Organizations implemented a survey of attitudes of political parties to their cooperation and willingness to participate in the development of volunteering in Slovakia. We have addressed 23 political parties and asked them for the answers for following questions:
