VSkills for Employment 

VSkills for Employment (D-zručnosti pre zamestnanie) is an online tool that allows volunteers to recognize, describe, prove, and validate competencies acquired through volunteering.

 In practice, volunteers complete an online questionnaire in which - based on their own assessment and evaluation of coordinator of volunteers - they can validate which competences they have acquired. They will document these skills with photos, videos, and other outputs and results of their volunteering (if available). Completed questionnaires supported by other documents will be assessed by a special commission, established at Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica. The University together with Platform of Volunteer Centers and Organizations will issue a certificate for every volunteer to confirm acquired competencies.

After a testing period, Vskills are officially launched since the beginning of the year 2015. You can find more informationon www.dzrucnosti.dobrovolnickecentra.sk (only in Slovak). 

The system D-zručnosti pre zamestnanie was transferred and adapted to local conditions thanks to the Volwem (Volunteering – Way to Employment) Project, supported by the European Commision.
